In 2008 when both El Da Sensei & Duplicuts came together and worked on their self-titled debut the idea they had was literally a project they came together to work on. So while they came together as creatives, they weren’t necessarily a group per se, in the traditional and organic sense of the term. Fast forward to 2020 and the duo have continually gelled as compatriots, artists, and above all friends and brothers. So it was only right to now have a name that reflects this.
As a unit and as a group, we have definitely become a lot tighter and more cohesive. Before our work was good because let’s face it, El’s such a pro and in return I tried my best to give back that same energy. But over the years we’ve become a lot more refined & stronger as a group and I feel that that evolution shows in the music so I figured why not have our name reflect that as well. –Duplicuts
So now, after years of being known as ‘The Immortals Project’, they are now Mighty Immortals. Still the same duo… but now Super Saiyans.
